Booyah Networks Ranked Number 107 Fastest Growing Company in
North America on Deloitte’s 2007 Technology Fast 500
Attributes its 1,592 Percent Revenue Growth to Investing in
Proprietary Technology
WESTMINSTER, CO [October 23]—Booyah Networks today announced that
it ranked 107 on Deloitte’s 2007 Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500
fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications and life sciences
companies in North America. Rankings are based on percentage of fiscal year revenue
growth over five years, from 2002–2006. Booyah grew 1,592 percent during this period.
Booyah’s CEO, Michael Shehan, credits the company’s 1,592
percent revenue growth over the past five years to its constant commitment to developing
new proprietary technologies and diversifying the business with new service
offerings. Shehan said, “Our
industry is crowded with innovative and well-financed companies, which makes
for tough competition. Our success comes from focusing our efforts on what we
do best, online marketing. We cover many areas of the space including sponsored
search, online video, search engine optimization and more. The key to Booyah’s
success is our commitment to providing our customers with the best technology
and the most experienced professionals.”
"Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 recognizes technology
companies who have achieved extraordinary growth in North America’s most
innovative and competitive sectors,” said Phil Asmundson, vice chairman, U.S.
Technology, Media and Telecommunications, Deloitte & Touche USA LLP.
"We congratulate Booyah Networks on this significant accomplishment."
In addition to ranking on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500,
Booyah Networks ranked fourth on the Technology
Fast 50, which is a ranking of the 50 fastest growing technology firms in Colorado.
Overall, companies that ranked on the 2007 Technology Fast
500 had growth rates ranging from 253 to 79,060 percent over five years, with
an average growth rate of 1,823 percent.
