Booyah Networks Hires Regional
Sales Director
SpotXchange expands team
to New York and the East Coast.
WESTMINSTER, CO (January 22, 2007) – Booyah Networks, a
digital marketing and technologies company, hired Paul Bowlin as regional sales
director for the company’s online video ad serving division, SpotXchange. Paul
will run the company’s East Coast office.
“This
is the year to make things happen with online video advertising. As such, we
are continuing to invest heavily in our sales team. Paul will play a key role
in making our presence known on the East Coast,” says Michael Shehan, president and CEO. “Paul brings
SpotXchange the experience and know-how to make a splash on Madison Avenue. He
has spent the past eight years educating advertisers and agency executives on
the power of emerging technologies in advertising. His prior work in broadcast
and search shows depth to his understanding of not only what is out there, but
what advertisers need to know to reach audiences in today’s evolving marketing landscape.“
Paul joins SpotXchange from BrightSpot Media where
he was the director of sales for the Eastern Region. Since 1998, Paul has
worked for innovative broadband advertising companies, such as Lightningcast,
FMiTV Networks and broadcast.com (now part of Yahoo). “The broadband
distribution channel is commanding attention from advertisers and their
agencies with its premium content and its massive audience reach, so the timing
is perfect to introduce an easy-to-use, open-auction marketplace for online
video advertising sales. SpotXchange has the built-in tools necessary to effectively
target audiences that our clients need to reach,” says Bowlin.
SpotXchange leverages the best of search engine
marketing with a self-service, auction-based ad-matching, ad-serving technology
platform that brings publishers and advertiser together in one marketplace.
- The platform allows publishers and advertisers to trade
media more equitably and cost effectively than traditional ad networks or
static, fixed price, negotiated contracts.
- Targeting is on a granular level, advertisers can
target publishers by geographic location (country, state, city, zip or
DMA), daypart (time-of-day and date), demographic and by contextual
category.
